1) King: Regalist had long hair and were known as Cavaliers; The Lords, the gentry and the Church of england supported them.
Parliament: Roundheads cut their hair short, and they were from London, the port, the underpaid Navy, the new gentry, the landowners, artisans ans puritans.

3) Its soldiers fought strongly and steadily; they were educated, puritan men who believed that God Himself was on their side. When they reorganized the Army in 1645, Parliament acquired a decisive advantage over the Stuart monarchy.

5) Positive Achievements: 1. Granted religious toleration; 2. The lost prestige of England was restored; 3. The Navy was reorganized, and England had now supremacy on the seas; 4. In 1654 it defeated Dutch, and in 1655 won over the Spanish fleet and captured the Carribean Island of Jamaica.

Negative Achievements: 1. The Rump Parliament voted for the execution of the King; 2. In 1649 Cromwell ruthlessy crushed a rebellion in Ireland, destroying catholic churches and killing the rebels; 3. They depended to much on the army that brought them to power; 4. After Cromwell's death, his son proved uncapable to control the army commanders and take care of the country: he was too weak, and had to resign after a year.
